I have been an aromatherapist since 1988 !   A 'grand-mother' of the craft in South Africa.   Back then, aromatherapy was almost a taboo profession - we were seen as witches / exotic prostitutes / hocus-pocus, off their heads, airy-fairy individuals.  Personally, I was "investigated" by the police and churches alike from 1988 through to 1996 when I left the Eastern Cape. 

 

We were trained to mix our own blends of oils to suit each person / client.   These days Aromatherapy is a household subject and we have a vast range of Single oils and Blended oils at our fingertips.
